September Meeting
Paul Turley
Lifelong aquarist and overall student of nature. Paul has given over 30 talks on Catfishes from coast to coast and has recently rekindled his passion for the subject.
(Sometimes life gets in the way!).
Ever since first reading Carl Ferarris’ 1991 book “Catfish in the Aquarium” shortly after its publication, catfishes have dominated his interests and efforts in his aquariums.
An early/former moderator on PlanetCatfish.com, his interests and online presence pre-dates the World Wide Web. During the early days of the internet, Paul was one of the original “regulars” on the usenet group Catfish.net.
Paul has a BS in Biology from the University of Minnesota where his junior and senior years were largely paid for with proceeds from breeding Synodontis multipunctatus (no joke!). He works as a product development engineer.
Paul lives in Sheffield Lake and is currently in the process of building his next fishroom.

Member Benefits
Joining a fish or aquatic club has many benefits. To be a part of an organization that help promote, educate, and foster the growth of the hobby is truly priceless. Members also assist each other in many ways, not to mention having access to hundreds of years in combined knowledge, and we even trade and sell fish from time to time.
