Next Meeting, April 20, 2018 at 8:00 PM for talk on Axolotls by Emilie Myatt

For April 2018, the program is a talk about Axolotls by Emilie Myatt.

She sold some at our auction and the bidding was good, so there is certainly interest in these interesting animals.

If you don’t know what an Axolotl is, here are some pictures that Emilie provided.

Bio by Emilie.

Little information about me. I have an Associates of Science degree from the University of Akron and will be continuing my pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. I now work at a chemical company called Scott Bader as a Lab Tech. I worked for two turtles pet shop in Akron and that is how I originally found Axolotls, I have been keeping Axolotls for almost 5 years. I have also worked for a semester at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium which helped me build upon my knowledge of aquarium care. I don’t keep Axolotls exclusively, I currently have 6 community tanks and my favorite fish would be a clown loach.

We will have our normal Breeders Awards Program, Mini Auction, and Dry Goods Raffle.

The meeting starts at 8:00 pm at:
