About Us

The Northeast Ohio Fish Club’s mission is to encourage and promote the science of exotic freshwater fishes, plants, to encourage and assist new hobbyists, to foster the interest of youth in the field, to encourage the breeding and displaying of aquatic life, to advance affiliations between kindred organizations in the United States and throughout the world, to acquire and disperse aquaria knowledge and literature, and to display the fact that ichthyology is, a serious, educational, and entertaining study and field.

NEOfish is an aquatic club in Northeast Ohio. We are an all specie fish club who do things a bit different that most. We are a membership driven club in which members in good standing set the tone and direction of the club. Because of this and the diversity of our club, we create an atmosphere where individuals on all levels can really thrive.

This club will have an extensive digital side to it. News, events and club information will always be available to the membership here on our website. Members will also have access to a NEOfish email address as well as a member website of their own. Members, hobbyists and breeders are encouraged to share information and their expertise in both our articles and on the forum.

The membership meets on the third Friday of every month in Independence, Ohio from 8:00PM to 10:00PM. Meetings are held at:

Independence United Methodist Church
6615 Brecksville Road
Independence, OH 44131

Those of you who are interested in our club are encouraged to come out, introduce yourself (good chance we’ll say hi first!) and sit in and see if it is something for you. Be aware, there will most likely be fish and other necessities being auctioned off at the end of the meeting!
